A couple of years ago, stepping off rue de Seine and coming around this bend (in the 6th arrondissement in Paris), I came upon this sight with the river Seine on the opposite side of the quay…

I still find a scene like this to be hopeful…promising…genuine….loving….and, for those few moments of my surprise encounter with these strangers, I felt ‘all was right on this earth’……Ahhhh…hhhh…..
