Snowpeople come in all sizes but…similar shapes! This one has followed me around from home to home. Not able to be seen so well in this photo, but he has a glittered body like snow sparkling in the light. He has always been loved by children and adults when he greets them at the front door. The stockings in the featured image are up there in years but still in great shape. After all, they only make an appearance once a year and they haven’t met up with a dog that didn’t like them!

All ‘dolled’ up but no place to go yet. This is a precious gift from a dear friend while both of us were living in the Napa Valley.

Photographed at Le Bon Marche department store in Paris. I think this one especially appeals to adults and children. Would you agree?

I want to say I photographed this ornament at The Conran Shop. If you have not been to this, primarily, furnishings and accessories shop, it is well worth touring through its two levels. No matter whether you are a window shopper or allowed-room-in-your suitcase purchaser, add this one to your list. It is just across the street from Le Bon Marche department store at 117 rue du Bac in Paris in the 7th arrondissement.
“Sir Terence Orby Conran CH RDI FCSD was an English designer, restaurateur, retailer, and writer. He founded the Design Museum in London.” Sadly, he just passed away in September. Here is the shop’s website which does not do the shop’s justice for its style in presenting their products: https://www.conranshop.co.uk/our-stores/paris/
