Advent Calendar 2020-Day #4

A more natural look..whether it be wreath or painted pinecone ornament.

Napa Valley decoration…

Yes, a shop in Paris. Wreaths, as it turns out, are also used for the 4 weeks leading up to Christmas Day. Advent wreaths have 4, sometimes 5 candles, incorporated in the wreath’s use. The symbolism is similar to an Advent Calendar. You can read more by going to this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advent_wreath

Painted shiny to sparkle up the room as decoration or trim on the tree. Purchased in the Napa Valley.

I’m fond of stranded bird nests. Napa Valley find.

A photo of a Parisian rather elaborate, yet natural ornament.

A romantic nature song, Fields of Gold sung by Sting to listen to while you look through the Pinterest wreaths: https://www.pinterest.com/patinaparadise/advent-wreaths/

You’ll remember me when the west wind moves upon the fields of barley
You’ll forget the sun in his jealous sky as we walk in fields of gold
So she took her love for to gaze awhile upon the fields of barley
In his arms she fell as her hair came down among the fields of goldWill you stay with me, will you be my love among the fields of barley?
We’ll forget the sun in his jealous sky as we lie in fields of gold
See the west wind move like a lover so upon the fields of barley.
Feel her body rise when you kiss her mouth among the fields of goldI never made promises lightly and there have been some that I’ve broken
But I swear in the days still left we’ll walk in fields of gold
We’ll walk in fields of goldMany years have passed since those summer days among the fields of barley
See the children run as the sun goes down among the fields of gold
You’ll remember me when the west wind moves upon the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky when we walked in fields of gold
When we walked in fields of gold, when we walked in fields of gold
