Epiphany-January 6th

This is a post I wrote last year on one of the practices in France for Epiphany, which is always celebrated on January 6th. Please open this link: https://wordpress.com/post/apocketfulofparis.com/1459

The featured image on this post was taken at the Paris window of La Patisserie des Reves or the Pastry Shop of Dreams, located on rue du Bac in the 7th arrondissement and just steps away from Le Bon Marche on the Left Bank. I might have called this shop Patisserie Perfect. They captured their pastries under glass domes. I was always treated to a theatre of delectable and stunning look pastries which then meant I added at least one drool on their windows when I was in the neighborhood.

Unfortunately, when I went to do my usual pastry dreaming/drool last year, I found the shop closed! So very disheartened, I just didn’t believe it at first and thought I wasn’t at the right spot on rue du Bac.

Do you see what I mean?
